Artwork for Bella Cove
An abstract painting that started with roiling waves and a Turner yellow sky. Adding a precarious sailing ship with an opening in the midst of roiling seas exposes the bottom of the ship. Suspended in air, gives a sense of intimate chaos.
Painted after moving to Mesa Arizona in 2025.
Paint with acrylics. 12"x12"
Artwork for The Inevitable
An abstract painting that started as a color painting but ended up editing the image into black and white for the song image. The ridge highlight where the lone tree is at just has a better contrast to the background.
This composition feels symbolic—perhaps a meditation on mortality, resilience, or the quiet persistence of time. The melody creates a tension that represents endurance or the finality of change, leaving only what must be faced.

Artwork for "What did you say, What did you mean.
This artwork is from my shadow artwork collection. These are created by taking a photograph of some interesting textures, then removing a black mask overlay. Slowly an image begins to appear revealing this image. This process creates the impression of something unearthed — a relic, a ghost, or a symbolic shell of identity.
The overall mood is mysterious, ancient, and introspective. It feels like a portrait of something that once was human, now transformed into an artifact of time, memory, or emotion.
